Randy Welch:
Mexico trip stats 16 flights, 6 hours and 40 mins total air time. Personal best include highest flight ever flown reaching a altitude of 3700 feet above launch. It was a 1200 ft/min thermal I found at probably 1000 feet above launch that brought me up that high. I also experienced my first cross county that was around 6 miles and the flight lasted 1 hours and 12 minutes. I finished the cross county strong with plenty of altitude and did a nice controlled big ear landing to finish.

Damon Parker: I had some great flights on the trip. I had one good top landing and two cross country flights. On my first XC I thermalled up to about 1,900 ft over launch (and had my biggest assymetric to date) before turning towards Sayula. I made it to the north side of Sayula (approx 4.3 mi) and landed in a field just off the main road which made for an easy pick up. The second XC flight was also the last flight of the trip. I didn't catch any significant lift until I got to the end of La Amiga where I caught a nice thermal that I rode back up to the launch and then another 1500 ft over. From there I headed toward Sayula and caught two more solid thermals on the way. I arrived over the soccer field just after Granger landed and had about 1200 ft to spare. I circled over Sayula for a few minutes and then touched down right next to Granger.

Rone Montano: 2 top landings and and 2 XC flights nearly to Sayula---4 miles! 900' above lunch and 6 hours flight time during trip!

Glenn Turner who only started flying 3 months ago: got a 53 min flight and tripled total previous airtime.
